Upgrading Acer Aspire One Happy 2 Dual-Core Atom N570 10.1-inch Netbook Memory from 1GB to 2GB
Take note of the following;
- The netbook comes with only 1 slot and it is populated by a 1GB memory module
- That means you have to remove the 1GB RAM module to insert the new 2GB RAM module
- Make sure you purchase the right memory module, you need 204 pin DDR3 SODIMM notebook memory module (1066MHz)
- Installing the memory is a snap. You just need a tiny Philips screwdriver to remove one screw from back cover. Once unscrewed slide the door towards the screw and lift up gently. Pop out the old, pop in the new, replace the cover and boot it back up (Follow the steps outlined in easily self upgrade RAM)

User Reviews
Many users commented that this was the perfect netbook for high school or college students, with its portability, functionality and cool looks. Some users also commented on the amount of space provided with the 250 GB hard drive, something that pleasantly surprised users in such a small netbook. No one anticipated running out of space anytime soon with this ample hard drive.
Many said it was just as good as some basic laptops, but had much more portability because of the size, making that a big plus for the Acer.
Battery life was averaged at about 4 hours, not the greatest, but not that bad either, of course this also depends on what you are doing. If you are not doing anything heavy and are not using the Wi-Fi, the battery will give you a couple of hours more.
Quite a few users said that while it was good for watching videos and video chatting, it was not good for games or working with graphics. Being a basic netbook most users understood this and were not disappointed with the performance.
The only real negative that was mentioned by users was the fact that there was no Bluetooth, while most users said they would have liked it, it should not deter someone from buying this unless they need Bluetooth.
Overall, users agreed that this was a great portable netbook, ideal for high school and college students. It does all the basic tasks you need and the unique color makes it stand out in a crowd.
