Gateway LT31 Series Netbooks – powered by AMD Athlon 64 L110

Recently launched, Gateway LT31 series of netbook has two things going for it: instead of the Atom processor other netbooks use, it uses the AMD Athlon 64 L110 processor.

The Gateway LT31 series also features a large screen size, giving you 11.6” of working space. Slightly bigger than most netbooks, it is bridging the gap between netbooks and notebooks. With a high definition ultrabright LED large screen it makes working easier without having to scroll constantly up and down and sideways.

The Gateway LT31 series of netbooks comes with several add-on features like a built-in digital microphone, a Multi-Gesture Touchpad and an ATI Radeon X1270 Graphics card which enhances the video/audio experience and allows you to use it for video conferencing and watching streaming video and audio.

One of the make-or-break features of a netbook is its keyboard, with some netbooks cramming the QWERTY keyboard into such a small space that it’s almost unusable. The LT31 however, makes optimal use of the space available, resulting in large keys with no noticeable difficulty for touch typing.

It offers all the advantages of the notebook with the added portability of the netbook and you can use it for work, entertainment and even studies.
