The netbook was developed primarily to provide the user with an affordable, no-frills computer primarily for surfing the web. These security suite software provide protection from malware without taking up too much hard drive space or processing power. As netbooks do not come with optical drives these security solutions are delivered online or via USB stick.
These new breed of security suite software for netbooks take the guesswork out of netbook security and helps to eliminate the technobable that makes computer security difficult to understand and control.
The safety measures applied to a netbook largely depend upon the cautionary practices of the netbook user. Safety concerns don’t have to escalate if the user is educated and chooses to pay for appropriate netbook security solutions.
