Samsung Go N310 10.1-Inch Netbook Review

Designed by Japanese artist Naoto Fukasawa the Samsung Go N310 netbook design is a departure from the more professional looking N110 and NC10. The new chassis has rounded, smooth edges, and the lid has a grainy, rubberized feel that gives it a durability that a plastic shell would never be able to offer.

The Samsung Go N310 is designed to go almost anywhere–from kitchen and living room at home to Wi-Fi hotspots at coffee shops, airports and more. You’ll be able to stay connected all day long thanks to the included 6-cell battery, which provides up to 9 hours of continuous use. It sports a 10.1-inch LED-backlit screen with a scratch resistant, edge-to-edge glass display, and the pebble-textured keyboard design makes typing comfortable with larger than average spacing. The Samsung Go N310 is powered by the 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, which is designed especially for mobile devices and features an innovative hafnium-infused circuitry that reduces electrical current leakage in transistors to conserve energy.

The island-style layout keyboard on the Samsung Go N310 is 94 percent of full-size and is comfortable to type. There’s a little space between each key, which makes it easy for touch-typists to find the correct keys with their fingers.

The Samsung Go N310 brings a different look to a generic netbook that promises durability and reliability, and even protection for germs.It’s performance is not only very good, but it can go for a long, long time, too. It’s definitely worth the price.The keyboard is well laid out and features large keys, and the touchpad is quite comfortable as well. But the Samsung Go is priced significantly higher than most netbooks with nearly identical specifications.
