Upgrading Toshiba Mini NB305-N410 netbook memory from 1GB to 2GB

The netbook comes with only 1 slot and it is populated by a 1GB memory module
That means you have to remove the 1GB RAM module to insert the new 2GB RAM module
Make sure you purchase the right memory module – a 200 pin DDR2 SODIMM notebook memory module (667MHz or 800MHz)
Installing the memory is a snap. You just need a tiny Philips screwdriver to remove one screw from back cover, pop out the old, pop in the new, replace the cover and boot it back up. See steps outlined in Upgrading Your Netbook RAM

During our research we found over 150 reviews online for the Toshiba Mini NB305-N410. Over 75% of the people that reviewed this product gave it either a 4 or 5 star rating and the 5 star ratings outnumbered the 4 star ratings by 3 to 1. The user reviews for this netbook are somewhat mixed.

Most of the reviewers loved everything about this netbook. They found it to be super handy for internet conveniences and very portable. Most agreed that it does everything these machines are intended to do and the battery life is outstanding. Reviewers appreciated the ergonomic layout of the keyboard and feel it to among the best in a netbook. Many would recommend it to anybody shopping around for a netbook.

The only negative comment we found are regarding bloatware and the lack of 1366 x 768 resolution. It is important to note however that these negative comments came from reviewers that were definitely in the minority.

There were also some other negative reviews for this product but the majority of those came from people that either got a defective model or experienced poor customer service. A poor customer service experience from some users cannot be held against the product itself and an incredible percentage of the reviewers had nothing but high marks for this netbook.

With a new sleeker design and up to 11 hours of battery life rating, this stylish super compact netbook raises the bar when it comes to portability and lets you enjoy all the benefits of today’s fast-moving digital world, putting you in touch with your favorite people, sites, networks and media in ways and places you never imagined.
